EPA has proposed (October, 1999) to regulate Radon in drinking water. Link to the EPA Fact Sheet . A maximum contaminant level of 300 mg/l has been proposed. In the past, regulating radon in water has been a political football; it is difficult to say when, and in what form, a final rule may occur.
